Tantra, the PVP MMORPG developed by HanbitSoft is well known to Asians, especially Filipinos and Indonesians. Its engrossing oriental storyline really has helped make it popular in the Asian MMO marketplace. The game revolves around the eight tribes; each of them has their distinct skills, looks, and build-up. Each player can freely choose one major God (Brahma, Vishnu or Shiva) to be their guide in their voyage on the land where only the brave and the courageous triumph.


I am a new writer on the MMORPGFocus.com team and will be covering games from the Asian marketplace. I’ve been playing this game for almost 2 years, perfecting my Garuda (Mantra weaver); they are described in the game's lore as the deadly practitioners of magical mischief.


My friends and I were so addicted to this game and were excited to reach level 100, wherein you will change into Amara, giving you a new set of magnificent wings to show off to other players your dedication and amazing accomplishments. Considering that our guild was composed mainly of Garuda, with their second job as Abikara, we often rule the land of Tantra.


With the coming of Kathana IV, the expansion of darkness, the Tantra gamers and enthusiasts are excited to face another challenge waiting for every avid gamer.


This expansion will push the envelope and add quite a lot an already successful Asian MMO. It will be interesting to see if the game is released in the United States too. Until then, gamers in other parts of the world are missing out! I would encourage you to log onto an Asian server to give the game a try anyway, you won't be dissapointed.
